I (foolishly) struggled with my crappy cloth oven mitts that I thought were nice. I'd often have to quickly drop the dutch oven or the hot pizza stone because I could feel my hand burning. I've been using these silicone mitts now for a few bakes. WOW. They work really well. I don't feel anything at all unless I was to hold onto the stone for a long time (yes I did test this, and there is plenty of time to move the pizza stone or heavy dutch oven from the oven to the stovetop/counter without burning yourself). It's not a rushing game like I used to play with the cloth oven mitts. I highly recommend these.”
