In the past three weeks, three people have died because of Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE), a mosquito-borne disease with no known cure. EEE has been detected in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Jersey, North Carolina, Michigan, Indiana, Florida, Delaware, New York, New Hampshire, Maine and Ohio so far.
