Jul 09, 2014 /prREACH/ -- The International Atomic Energy Agency based in Vienna, Austria, on May 21, 2014 endorsed the findings of a double blind clinical trial confirming “the specially good results obtained by using Cryptomphalus Aspersa snail secretions for the treatment of radiodermatitis caused by radiotherapy for cancer”. The early study was based on 100 patients. 50 of the patients with acute radiodermatitis received treatment with the secretions for 3 months.
