Nov 05, 2014 /prREACH/ -- Splash Car Wash is honoring all American veterans and active-duty personnel by offering a free car wash this coming Tuesday, November 11th.  Mark Curtis, owner of Splash, stated, “It’s our small way to show our appreciation to the men and women who have sacrificed so much and served our country so bravely.” All 16 Splash locations will be participating along with more than 2,700 other carwashes in four countries --- U.S., Canada, New Zealand, and Australia.

Splash Car Wash has made the offer to those who have served in the military for the past 20 years.  This year, however, they will be collecting donations at each car wash service center to benefit the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation from November 7th through 12th.

"It’s our small way to say ‘thank you’ to the men and women who have sacrificed so much to serve our country and protect our freedoms", stated Chris Fisher, co-owner of Splash.  "Since starting this effort in the early nineties, we've washed thousands of soldiers' cars on Veterans Day.  We're hoping this year will be our best ever," he added.

Splash Car Wash has been recognized on more than 20 occasions over the years and has also received numerous awards, including the Blue Chip Enterprise Award, Angie’s List Super Service Award 2013, and recognition as an inductee in the Connecticut Business Hall of Fame. Taking part in charitable events, contest giveaways and offering free car wash services to veterans during Veterans Day are their way of giving back to a good cause and a way of showing gratitude to the men and women who have sacrificed  and served the country. Hundreds of companies --- local and chain businesses --- are participating in giving US veterans free deals on Veterans Day.
