While traditional braces are a normal social trend in the teenage years, adults who want straight teeth often don’t seek orthodontic treatment because of the negative stigma that braces have in later years. With Invisalign clear braces, image no longer has to be a concern for adult patients.

Invisalign appliances are created using the latest 3D imaging technology, which assists Dr. Polancich in creating a series of individual aligners that are made with soft, clear plastic. These aligners fit snugly over the top and bottom arches of teeth, and use gentle forces to gradually move teeth into alignment over time. Invisalign patients wear a new set of aligners approximately every two weeks throughout the course of their treatment.
In addition to being near-invisible when worn, the clear aligners are also completely removable. Patients are instructed to wear the aligners all day and night except for when eating and when drinking beverages other than water. However, patients do have free reign to remove the aligners for special occasions as they see fit, such as important meetings, interviews, presentations, photographs, reunions, and more.
