Feb 20, 2015 /prREACH/ -- Medicarsafety is an organization that offers a complete driver and attendant training program for transporting non-emergency patients. The training program offered exceeds all requirements set forth by the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules for the State of Illinois. Non-Emergency Wheelchair Transport (NEWT) believes that the training provided by Medicarsafety is the best, most comprehensive training available in the paratransit industry and has announced that all of the company’s employees have successfully completed the training.

NEWT wants to ensure the complete safety of their clients and believe they are taking the steps necessary to do so, starting with their employees completion of the Medicarsafety training. Subjects covered in the course include the Non-Emergency Medical Transport (NEMT) Vehicle Operator Program and the Passenger Safety Program.
