Oct 04, 2013 /prREACH/ -- A new body make over program has been developed by San Diego Personal Trainer Scott Elliot.  Scott Elliot, owner, certified nutritionist, and personal trainer of Kool Body Personal Training has created the 8 week program bases on metabolic training, nutrition, and motivation.  The 8 week program brings weight loss, strength, and toning to ones’ body.

Over one-third of the adult population in the United States is obese, according to the Center for Disease Control.  The percentage of people who lose the weight and keep it off is less than 20% bases on research in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.  Scott has seen the ups and downs of many people going through weight loss programs in his 9 years as a personal trainer.

Scott goes on to explain that the 8 week program he developed based on metabolic training, or conditioning, enhances the body’s energy system.   One of the best strategies for building muscle, melting fat, improving and toning a body based on The Journal of Strength and Conditioning is metabolic training. The researchers in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning also concluded that metabolic conditioning can help one achieve the desired physique.

Scott’s new 8 week program will also include nutrition and motivation. Studies show that food combinations have a lasting effect towards weight loss than simply burning calories.  Motivation and focus will be addressed with clear set goals with a trainer. The 8 Week Body Makeover Program trains, teaches, motivates, and holds people accountable.

Quotes
“Commercials and TV shows put forth the idea of losing weight means that you have to work out harder, longer, and eat like a bird”, states Scott. “This way of thinking is not only exhausting but not the most efficient way of losing weight and can even damage your body”.
