Attendees will get to mix and mingle with “SPORTS Man of the Year” Kraig Chiles, Basketball Hall of Famer, Bill Walton and Mad Mike from the MTV classic, “Pimp My Ride”. A Taste 4 SPORTS features fabulous signature dishes and libations from over twenty-five San Diego restaurants including Pick Up Stix, Park House Eatery, Slaters 50/50, breweries and wineries and the “Sensational Silent Auction” with trips, autographed sports memorabilia, gift baskets and much more. Chiles encourages everyone to go outside and play. He believes that sports bring people together, helping each other be the best they can be while creating bonds of friendship that shape and build their lives. He continues by says that he loves playing soccer and it has given him amazing opportunities to learn and grow. But most importantly he has been able to share hi love for the game with exceptional athletes everywhere.
The purpose of SPORTS for Exceptional Athletes is to create enhanced opportunities for people with and without disabilities to interact and form lasting bonds of friendship through shared sports activities in their community. S4EA sports programs help athletes relate to each other without stereotypes.
