Jul 05, 2016 /prREACH/ -- Sarah Thiel and Katrinna Jackson, founders of CE Zoom, make their debut as performance artists in their soon to be viral video titled “New School Tracker” which touches on serious issues effecting healthcare professionals seeking to meet state specific continuing education requirements and how states perform license renewal audits.
CE Zoom, a New Mexico based company has developed an online platform which allows dental and medical professionals to find CE classes, monitor their individual state requirements, and store all the information in one place, making it virtually impossible for those few nefarious individuals to make fraudulent submissions.
While Sarah Thiel and Katrinna Jackson are not actually rappers, they appear to have fun expressing how ridiculously easy it is to meet state requirements and for states to audit license renewals using CE Zoom.
What these two ladies are trying to portray is how simple and complete their CE platform is. By allowing an individual to find a course, register for it, verify their attendance, take a survey and submit their proof of attendance to the state in 5 simple steps is the breath of fresh air dental professionals have been asking for. More importantly, hidden in all these simple steps is a way for state dental boards to be able to fully automatically audit licensed professionals and make fraudulent CE submission almost impossible.
“Several states have disclosed under their breath that they aren’t performing audits and their main excuse is that they don’t have the means to do so.” Said Sarah Thiel, Co-Founder and CEO of CE Zoom. “It is written in the states’ rules and regulations that they should audit anywhere from 3-10% of their licensed professionals. The CE Zoom team has met with several states and of those states have found that only two are actually auditing. This is a serious issue that needs to be addressed.” Sarah added.
CE Zoom selected Translucent Developments, a Phoenix based startup development company, to develop a powerful Continuing Education Management platform that will help all healthcare professionals stay compliant along with a turn-key tool for state licensing bodies to regulate and protect the public all in one easy to use platform, solving a growing problem amongst healthcare professionals and state licensing bodies across the nation.
