Angelia Kinston epitomizes integrity, energy, hard work and creative service in every detail of a real estate transaction. Angelia grew up in the Northern Virginia area, where her love of numbers and helping people grew from an early age. She tracked the statistics for her high school basketball team and began showing the players how they could improve their results. Her fascination with numbers, finance and metrics grew from that moment. Everything she was involved in from that point on revolved around figuring out the numbers. Fast forward to 2006, Angelia worked hard to obtain her real estate license while working full time at her career as a financial business manager in public service.
Because Angelia was raising a family, she optimized her license by doing referrals to a developed network of veteran Realtors for buyers and sellers in the area. Her clients were always happy with her choices and the ability to solve their real estate challenges. She also maintained her desire and love of real estate and problem solving. She also authored a book “What School Never Taught Me About Money,” to show young adults the importance of budgeting and financial management.
Young adults are taught many things in school, but simple home economics concepts like creating a spending plan and tracking expenses are often overlooked. Also, not so young adults get caught up when life happens and are sometimes forced to make hard and bad decisions that threaten or ruin their financial health and stability. Angelia wrote the book to help them understand that there is a way to get a handle on their finances.
Today, Angelia is an active Realtor who maintains an extensive referral network of Realtors all across the country. She uses this network to help many people relocate by connecting clients with Realtors who know the areas that they’re going. She also has expanded her knowledge of real estate and numbers into an investment business that helps homeowners sell homes quickly due to inheritance, relocation, divorce, too many repairs or if they are having trouble selling in today’s market.
