Oct 15, 2016 /prREACH/ -- Asher College Las Vegas has a new home.
Join Asher College for the official ribbon cutting on Tuesday, October 18 at 10:00 a.m. and see this bigger and better location in person. Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman is scheduled to participate in the ceremony.
The new Asher campus boasts 15,000 square-feet of contemporary space and is located in central Las Vegas at 6029 West Charleston Boulevard (on the corner of Charleston and Jones).
“Asher College Las Vegas opened its doors in 2011. Since then, the campus has continued to grow and its expansion has been long-awaited,” said David Vice, Asher College President.
The new campus is in an updated facility that allows for larger classrooms as well as additional lecture and meeting rooms. The centralized location is also significantly served by public transportation, which provides students with easier access throughout the area.
“The new location will allow the school to expand programming and better accommodate the students, aligning with the school's mission of providing quality, market-driven education,” added Tom Bezek, the Asher Las Vegas Campus Director.
The new space will also be able to accommodate more community events and workshops. It will also facilitate increased community interaction for Asher College students.
“Las Vegas is a networking community,” stated Bill Zavatchin, Las Vegas Director of Career Services. “Being exposed to those contacts is very important, and the more students can interact with the community, the greater opportunities for advancement and employment.”
“Many students are enthusiastic about this move and what it means for their education and careers,” said Bezek. “And that, after all, is what matters most.”
Asher College faculty, administration and students alike are thrilled about the opening of the new location. Help them celebrate at the ribbon cutting event for the new location on Tuesday, October 18th at 10:00am.
