May 26, 2014 /prREACH/ -- Splash Car Wash, with locations in Connecticut and New York, held its first “key” drawing in its Wash It & Win Contest this past Saturday evening. A total of 17 key winners were drawn and each key winner now has a chance to see if their key starts a 2014 Corvette Stingray. If it does, they will drive away the Stingray with a two year lease, courtesy of Splash and its co-sponsor, Karl Chevrolet.

The key winners were ecstatic with a few claiming that they had never won anything before. Their selection automatically entitled them to $200 worth of Splash car wash and detail services. While they were excited about the services from Splash, they were even more anxious about finding out whether they had the key that will start the car.

A total of 74 keys will be given to winning entrants and all winners will be invited to the Splash “Start-Me-Up Party” on June 14th, which will be held at Karl Chevrolet in New Canaan, Connecticut. Damian M. from Wilton, Connecticut, one of the lucky ones chosen on Saturday, remarked “How exciting! My twin boys (who recently got their license) can’t wait to turn the key and drive it home! Might as well be optimistic!”

Another 17 keys will be given away to names drawn this Saturday at all 16 Splash locations and one at Karl Chevrolet. Entries can be made by anyone 18 or older at any of the Splash sites or at Karl Chevrolet with no purchase needed. “This is the seventh car Splash has given away in contests, but it’s head and shoulders above anything else we’ve done,” added Chris Fisher, co-owner of Splash. “I wish I could enter the contest and win it. The Corvette is simply an awesome car”.
