The awards ceremony is in its twelfth year and was held on November 1, 2013 at the Hilton 5 Star Hotel in Mayfair, London. The Private Dentistry Awards recognize and reward excellence in private sector dentistry and all category nominees were treated to an evening of luxury and celebration in honor of their hard work. Considered the UK's most prestigious dental achievement, winning a Private Dentistry Award is one of the most valuable and objective guarantees of professional performance and excellence.

Some of the awards categories (which totaled 20) included Most Attractive Practice, Best Patient Care, Best Team and Best Dental Laboratory.

The awards evening culminated in the highly anticipated award for most outstanding practice: Practice of the Year 2013, which was awarded to The Berkeley Clinic.The independent judging panel was chaired by David Houston, a principal dentist with 19 years of experience, and supported by 17 independent judges, assessed the entries in two stages to come up with the final selection of winners. Not only do the awards strive to create a benchmark for local excellence, they also ensure that local standards are kept in line with the latest international trends in private practice.Apollo Interiors, a dental interiors and medical refurbishment specialist renowned for its unique and innovative dental interiors, has conceptualized and designed award-winning practices across the country.
