San Francisco, CA, Mar 22, 2020 /prREACH/ -- PickFu is happy to announce that it will be hosting a virtual town hall with FairVote to discuss how to improve U.S. elections through ranked-choice voting. This virtual town hall will take place on Facebook Live and YouTube Live on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, beginning at 11 a.m. Pacific time. The event is set up for anyone to watch the session live, ask questions and share comments and ideas.

The PickFu event will cover the benefits of applying a ranked-choice voting system to the U.S. elections. "Ranked-choice voting promotes majority support, discourages negative campaigning and replaces low-turnout runoff elections," she said. "Often, candidates win elections without winning majority support. This means that most voters chose someone other than the winning candidate. Ranked-choice voting would help find out which of the top candidates has real majority support."
