Gardena, CA , May 12, 2020 /prREACH/ -- Daiwa Health Development is pleased to announce that its new krill oil capsules are now available on Amazon. The product has been formulated using red krill oil that is responsibly sourced from the pristine waters of the Antarctic. It is packed with eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), two essential omega-3 fatty acids. Daiwa krill oil also provides omega-6-and-9 in an ideal ratio harmonious with the human cell.

Krill oil is derived from shrimp-like crustaceans called krill. The omega-3-rich oil contains two of the same essential fatty acids as fish oil (EPA and DHA). Krill oil is often used to improve heart health and fight inflammation. Another benefit of krill oil is that its EPA and DHA in krill oil have a higher rate of absorption compared to fish oil because much of the EPA and DHA in krill oil are bound to phospholipids.
In contrast to fish oil, krill oil contains more astaxanthin —a carotenoid pigment that gives krill and other crustaceans their characteristic reddish color. Unlike many other antioxidant substances, preliminary studies have found that astaxanthin may cross the blood-brain barrier and protect the brain and central nervous system from free radical damage. Krill oil EPA and DHA essential fatty acids also support healthy cholesterol levels, along with offering joint care.
Hank Cheatham, the senior spokesperson for Daiwa Health Development, explains, "Krill oil is the body's best source of omega-3 fatty acids. It is rich in phospholipid-bound EPA and DHA, providing greater bioavailability, superior to flax and fish oils. Krill oil also delivers the fatty acids omega-6 and omega-9 in the proper ratio, as well as vitamins A and E."
Daiwa krill oil doesn't have the fishy aftertaste that is often associated with fish oils. The manufacturer recommends two soft gels per day, one each in the morning and at night, for optimum results.
