“The acquisition of XL Engineering has been an exciting project and is a big step forward for Allied Global Engineering in our strategy to build a group of high-caliber engineering businesses,” explains founding partner for Allied Global, Phil Jepson. “The disruption to global supply chains caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has given British and European engineering businesses a unique opportunity to reclaim business and customers that have been lost to overseas suppliers in recent years. That makes it a great time to be in engineering.”
Jepson has been highly praised by the distinguished Made in the Midlands Group, being recognized as a “Manufacturing Hero” for his contributions to the manufacturing and engineering industry through the work he has done with EGL Vaughan.
Comprised of founding partner Phil Jepson, award-winning entrepreneur Bethan Jepson, ex-Schneider engineer and operational expert Jan-Marc Pickhan, sales expert and commercial manager of EGL Vaughan Daniel Cole, and marketing extraordinaire Lana Cheaito-Hood, the Allied Global team brings more than 25 years of experience to the table.
“Our focus is to create and bring together a group of companies in the engineering industry, growing a portfolio of businesses that all work together,” Jepson adds. “We are celebrating the legacy of long-standing engineering businesses and the people who made them by integrating entrepreneurial energy and innovation with well-established reliability and quality so that together, the businesses and the people within them can all reach their highest potential.”
