Apr 03, 2014 /prREACH/ -- Firebox Training, the Golden, Colorado based IT training firm has just completed a major overhaul of their website, making it faster and now mobile-friendly. The new website development has been under construction for the last four weeks and was just launched this past Friday, March 28, 2014.

The new and mobile-ready, improved website includes a major upgrade in hosting and is now loading pages 2-3 times faster than the old website. The move to a mobile-ready platform was a necessity with the current search traffic trends moving quickly to smartphones and tablets. Firebox made the move aimed primarily at the public courses where individuals can sign up to take IT training courses anytime. Those prospective students are often on the move and on mobile devices.

"The new website is not only faster and fully integrated, but is very mobile-friendly. Individual students will now be able to enroll in our public classes via a PC, tablet or mobile device", states Shawn Johnson, director of marketing for Firebox.

The move to the new website was also an opportunity for a few upgrades in addition to the improved site speed and mobile-ready display. The new site also includes an expanded library of free IT training tutorials which continues to grow. As of last week the popular tutorials have received over 250,000 views. Firebox is also encouraging current and prospective students to make requests through the blog comments or Firebox’ YouTube channel for specific tutorials they would like to see on the site or blog.

"We have added more detailed video tutorials, showcasing our teaching style. When people visit the new site they will find new Python, Ruby, and .NET training course offerings." says founder, Julie Johnson.

Instructor-led online classes are becoming more popular for small businesses and throughout all educational systems. Public schools and colleges have turned to online courses as a viable classroom style. It save times and money taking a class online compared to traveling to a location to learn in a traditional classroom setting.

Firebox Training will also continue to offer “Super Nova” and “Fire Starter” early enrollment discounts on IT training. Additionally, multi-enrollment discounts are available ranging from 5% to 35% when  enrolling online. The earlier the commitment to a training course, the more savings on training services.
