Apr 29, 2017 /prREACH/ -- Executive Director Jessica Jones recently won a SmartCEO Brava Award for her business Rainstorm Media Group. The award celebrates top female CEO’s for their achievement of businesses throughout their region. Winners show ideal leadership of both their company and their community.

SmartCEO is a magazine and website dedicated to educate, inspire and connect CEO’s with events and online resources. SmartCEO provides ideas and inspiration to help CEO’s grow their business. An independent committee of local business leaders selected winners based on company growth, community impact and mentoring. Jessica Jones won a Brava Award in the CEO category which celebrated high-impact female business leaders who encouraged local philanthropy, and who mentor up and coming leaders in the Philadelphia area.

Jones began her career in local radio sales then moved to national sales in 1994. During this time she won the Chairman’s Circle award for most Valuable Employee and was the youngest employee in the history to be awarded the Executive VP title.

Rainstorm Media Group, founded by Jones in 2012, is a radio advertising agency specializing in direct-response media. It is located in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Rainstorm maximizes leads and creates customized campaigns to assist clients in expanding their market. They believe in strong media and creative testing, analysis and consistency to lead to maximum return. When Jones founded Rainstorm, she developed a seven step philosophy for her company. They are: Discovery, learning about a client's business; Intent, determining the client’s goal; Budget,working out how much to spend; The Plan, merge creative and media to the target audience; Tracking and Return on Investment, capture results to gauge what is working; Adjustments, refine strategy based on results; and Scaling,determine if growing budget and/or market is feasible .

Jones believes this philosophy has helped her company grow. This, along with her willingness to work with and speak to youth, particularly women, was a factor in winning the SmartCEO Brava Award.
