Feb 15, 2019 /prREACH/ -- Asher College was recently re-accredited, earning a 5-year certificate of accreditation through ACCET (the Accrediting Council on Continuing Education and Training). ACCET, a leading U.S. accrediting bureau, has given each of Asher’s three campus locations in Dallas, Texas; Las Vegas, Nevada; and Sacramento, California. accreditation through December 30, 2023.

This is the 3rd 5-year accreditation awarded by ACCET to Asher College.

In their award of certification, ACCET declared that Asher College has been duly examined, and found to be in compliance with ACCET’s standards of accreditation. By accepting this certificate of accreditation, Asher thereby agrees to continue the responsibility of upholding this standard and maintaining a high level of quality and integrity during the five-year term.

The Accrediting Council for Continuing Education Training (ACCET) is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and, accordingly, is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency.

Accredited institutions are colleges that have undergone a rigorous process evaluating educational quality. Accreditation is not easy to attain, and the rules and regulations are strict, precise and designed to protect students. Accreditation is considered a reliable indicator of quality, and signals the school has approved programs of study, qualified instructors, and is recognized by employers nationwide.

To achieve this accreditation, Asher College completed a rigorous four step process demonstrating an implementation of institutional and program goals, a comprehensive self-evaluation, an on-site professional peer review, and an independent review and decision by the Accrediting Commission related to Asher College’s commitment to and compliance with ACCET standards.

Founded in 1998, Asher College offers Associate of Applied Science Degrees and Certificate programs with industry recognized certifications from CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, Intuit, the National Health Career Association (NHA) and the AAPC for careers in Information Technology, Administrative Health Services, and Business Administration. Asher College also has a Pharmacy Technician licensing program at the Sacramento and Dallas campuses which can lead to a state license and certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
