Dallas, TX, Feb 05, 2020 /prREACH/ -- Asher College of Dallas is announcing it will now offer an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree program in Business Administration. By extending its existing program offerings in the field of business, this new AAS program demonstrates Asher College’s commitment to training high-quality job candidates for careers in high demand.
Asher College recognizes the demand nationwide for skilled, trained business professionals. The field of business administration is continually expanding, and Asher’s newest program aims to train qualified, skilled business professionals to fill the demand for these positions.
The AAS in Business Administration degree program at Asher College will prepare graduates for supervisory and management positions by teaching critical thinking, leadership, communication and the organizational skills necessary for success. Covering a wide range of courses, the AAS degree program requires general education courses in psychology, American government, and business math, as well as specialized courses in marketing, human resources, entrepreneurship, and project management. Accounting principles and theories are included, and students also take computer fundamentals and Microsoft Office application courses. The Computer Fundamentals course prepares students to obtain the CompTIA IT Fundamentals certification, a professional certificate that demonstrates the graduate has the skills and knowledge to identify and explain the basics of computing, IT infrastructure, application and software, software development, database fundamentals and security.
Asher College also offers Associate of Applied Science degrees and certificate programs for careers in information technology, administrative health services, and pharmacy technology. Asher has additional locations in Sacramento, California and Las Vegas, Nevada, and holds accreditation through the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET). ACCET monitors Asher on both graduation and placement rates, and this continued accreditation is an assurance that the school and its programs meet national standards.
