Committed to training high-quality job candidates for in-demand careers, Asher College’s new AAS program furthers this commitment by extending their existing program offerings in the field of business.
Asher College recognizes that the field of business administration is expanding in today’s marketplace, and businesses across the country depend upon skilled, trained business professionals as an integral component of their success. Asher’s newest program is dedicated to training qualified, skilled business professionals to fill these positions.
At Asher College, the Associate of Applied Science degree program in Business Administration prepares graduates for supervisory and management positions. Students in the AAS program develop the skills necessary for success in business, including critical thinking, leadership, communication, and organizational skills. A wide range of courses is included in the program, ranging from general education courses in business math, American government, and psychology, to specialized courses in project management, marketing, entrepreneurship, and human resources. Accounting principles and theories are covered, and students also take courses in computer fundamentals and Microsoft Office applications. An additional benefit for these students, the Computer Fundamentals course prepares them to obtain the CompTIA IT Fundamentals certification. This professional certification will demonstrate the graduate has the knowledge and skills required to identify and explain the basics of computing, IT infrastructure, application and software, software development, database fundamentals and security.
