Asher College Opens New Dallas Campus Location

Feb 23, 2019 /prREACH/ -- Asher College opened the first Dallas, TX branch campus location in 2012. Now, in 2019, Asher is announcing the move to a new, larger space for their Dallas campus. This expanded location is expected to better serve their students. Formerly in Addison, the new Asher campus is located in the Lake Highlands Tower (formerly known as the Abrams Center) on LBJ freeway at Abrams Road. The Lake Highlands Tower is a modern building with on-site amenities including a ground-floor deli and 24-7 security. The building also has a tenant conference center, a full-service bank, dry cleaner, and a barber. The building’s lobby, deli, and elevator cabs underwent complete renovation in February 2012.

Located near public transportation, the new Asher College location is expected to better serve the transit needs of their students. With two light rail stations less than a mile away and a bus stop about one quarter of a mile away, the new campus location is easily accessible by public transit. The LBJ/Central Transit Stop (Orange, Red Lines) is 1 mile away, a 4-minute drive or 20 minute walk. For students that drive to school, the new location hosts ample surface and garage parking and has instant access to the LBJ Freeway with a convenient commute to Richardson, Garland, Mesquite and North Dallas. The new campus also has immediate access to I-635, North Central Expressway, Dallas North Tollway and Forest Lane.

Asher College students will benefit from the expanded size of the campus, the increased public transportation options, and the proximity to nearby restaurants and businesses. Asher’s new location is walking distance to Walmart, Chick-Fil-A, and Whataburger. Students will find more options, with the Olive Garden, Primo Brothers Pizza, Yama Sushi, and Flaming Cheese Saganaki all nearby as well.

With twenty percent more space at the new location, Asher expects the new campus will provide for future growth and will allow the college to serve students, the community, and local employers even better. Classes resumed at Asher College’s new Dallas branch location on February 25, 2019. The next two starts at the Dallas Campus are March 4th and April 1st. Asher offers Associate of Applied Science Degrees and Certification programs for careers in Information Technology, Administrative Health Services, and Business Administration as well as Pharmacy Technician licensure.
