Mar 21, 2018 /prREACH/ -- MIAMI, FL. - Dennis Coral was the guest lecturer for the day at the Business school of Florida International University. He discussed the importance of Financial Wellness to students pursuing their MBA. The lecture was given at FIU’s Brickell campus on January 5.
Dennis is Managing Director and Founder of Coral Wealth Management, an Independent Financial Advisory firm. He has over 17 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry. Prior to founding Coral Wealth Management, Dennis held leadership roles as Vice President at SunTrust Bank and Morgan Stanley. Dennis is former alumni from FIU. He completed his dual bachelor’s degree in Finance and International Business as well as his MBA there.

Included in the Financial Wellness workshop were topics on effective budgeting, importance of credit for your business and personal life, risk management, retirement and income planning strategies, analyzing 401(K) retirement plans, small business administration business lending and other business lending resources, money management, portfolio construction, investments, asset allocation, basics of estate planning, and tips on selecting a CPA and lawyer for business.
The lecture is part of a series of giving back to the community through education. A strong financial knowledge is important and valuable to MBA students as they continue their careers. This Financial Wellness workshop education taught by Dennis allows the students to be better prepared for planning their own retirement and running a business effectively.
