Nov 10, 2017 /prREACH/ -- November 3, 2017, San Antonio, TX The Emergency Center, LLC is proud to announce the expansion of its operations with the upcoming opening of their new full-service emergency room in San Antonio. Located at 11320 Alamo Ranch Parkway, at 1604 and 151, in front of Santikos Casa Blanca, TEC will begin taking patients on December 4th and then invites the public to join them for their ribbon cutting and grand opening on December 14th from 2 pm – 7 pm. The grand opening celebration will include photo ops with Star Wars characters, Santikos movie ticket giveaways, facility tours and refreshments.

Dr. Eric Wilke, TEC’s Chief Medical Officer says that The Emergency Center is pleased to  bring the highest quality emergency care closer to home for residents of northwest San Antonio. He goes on to say that TEC's team of board-certified physicians and ER/ICU-trained nurses, offers access to emergency care in a more convenient way by drastically reducing the time patients wait to be seen. TEC's compassionate, caring approach ensures the individual needs of each and every patient are met.

The facility features eight spacious patient rooms for enhanced privacy, a quieter environment, and more advanced technology to provide the best patient-centered care. Different from urgent care centers, The Emergency Center offers a complete suite of emergency services onsite, including X-ray, 64-slice CT scanner, ultrasound, a full-service diagnostic lab, in-patient pharmacy, and take home MedPacks. The ER NO WAIT emergency care and will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and accepts all major private insurance plans.

Dr. Jeff Erdner, TEC’s Facility Medical Director and COO says that their approach to healthcare is not only different, it’s successful.  He goes on to say that TEC's ER is equipped to provide key medical services that the average urgent care clinic cannot, such as critical care stabilization and monitoring, procedural sedation, cardiac evaluation, and many other types of life-saving emergency care. Compared to hospital ERs, patients experience much shorter wait times, a personalized patient experience and less overall hassle. When minutes count, they are pleased that San Antonio residents will have another choice in where they receive their emergency care treatment.
