Oct 26, 2016 /prREACH/ -- Annual Fall Festival of Forks and Corks will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Bernardo Winery from 5:30PM- 8:30 PM. The fundraising event will benefit Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego.
Tickets to the Fall Festival of Forks and Corks will include tastings from local breweries, wineries, and restaurants. Over 40 local vendors will also be present for attendees to shop while dining, and listening to music throughout Bernardo Winery. A raffle drawing and silent auction will also be held.
Cafe Merlot and LifeStyles INFOCUS® are the presenters of the Fall Festival of Forks and Corks with proceeds to benefit the Healing Touch Program and Integrative Medicine Center of Rady Children’s Hospital. Rady Children’s Hospital, a non-profit research and teaching hospital, is the only hospital in the San Diego area dedicated to pediatric healthcare to include a pediatric trauma center.
The Integrative Medicine Program includes massage,reflexology and Healing Touch. Healing Touch is an energy based therapy complementing other health care treatments. It often brings decrease in pain and side effects, with a relief in anxiety and acceleration in the healing process. Evidence has shown that it can benefit patients and caregivers both physically and emotionally.
The Fall Festival of Forks and Corks will be held at Bernardo Winery, Rosario’s pavilion, 13330 Paseo del Verano Norte, in San Diego. It has been around over 125 years and is the oldest family-run working winery in Southern California. Cafe Merlot is an award winning restaurant using fresh herbs and produce with edible flowers from their own micro farm on the grounds of the Winery. LifeStyles INFOCUS® is a female owned, family based business based in San Diego that serves as a wellness solution for companies, organizations, and communities both locally and nationwide.
Rady is affiliated with University of California, San Diego and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Cafe Merlot and LifeStyles INFOCUS are partners of Live Well San Diego.
Tickets are available online to Fall Festival of Forks and Corks and start at $25 which include unlimited tastings and access to all vendors. Upgrade tickets are still available for a keep-sake event wine glass or VIP tickets to a reception. Tickets are tax deductible.
