Oct 01, 2014 /prREACH/ -- Help U Store It continues its expansion into Colleges and Universities in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas. With each additional school, Help U Store it brings new employment opportunities for the current college students. Working with Help U Store It provides essential first hand experience for college students who want to learn how to manage a small business and the required marketing and logistics skills necessary for the job.

Help U Store It was started in May 2011 by two former graduates from Saint Joseph’s University (http://www.helpustoreit.com/about-us/). While in school, they experienced the difficulties of moving in and out of their college dorm room and apartments without the help of a moving company. There were many general moving and storage companies in Philadelphia at the time, but they wanted to fill the void by providing dorm room and student living storage that catered to the college demographic. Help U Store It not only serves the transportation needs of the students, but they also give back to the Universities by offering valuable work experience to undergraduates.

The Help U Store It student employment program offers a range of benefits for interested applicants including:

1. The ability to earn extra income while working part time and going to school

2. Building vital marketing and sales skills to help promote the business

Co-owner David Barry has been the direct manager of the student employees since 2011. Help U Store It currently hires and provides moving and storage services for students at St. Joseph’s University, Drexel University, Villanova, University of Pennsylvania, and Temple University (http://www.helpustoreit.com/resources/temple-university/). They are competitively priced compared to typical storage units while offering free pickup and delivery to on campus and off campus locations in Philly. The main goal of Help U Store is to help students save money, time, and the physically draining effort of moving in or out of school.
