Nov 28, 2017 /prREACH/ -- SAN DIEGO, CA The International College of Holistic Studies now offers financial assistance to eligible students through the Title IV Program. The International College of Holistic Studies (ICoHS) is a nationally accredited non-profit holistic health school in San Diego, California.

ICoHS was recently approved by the United States Department of Education to participate in the federal Title IV financial assistance program. ICoHS offers professional training programs for careers in the holistic health field. ICoHS has been preparing students for rewarding careers as massage therapists and holistic health practitioners for more than three decades.

The school was founded in 1984 by Doug Peterson as the Institute of Health Sciences. In 1990, the name of the school was changed to The School of Healing Arts, and subsequently to its current name of the International College of Holistic Studies. During the 30 years it has been open and operating, ICoHS has prepared thousands of graduates from around the world for rewarding careers working in luxurious resorts, day spas, sports clubs, and medical offices. Some have also gone on to start their own practices.

Recently, ICoHS was approved by the US Department of Education to participate in the Title IV Program. Title IV is a federal program that helps eligible students pay for college and other educational expenses such as books, supplies, housing, and transportation. This is a very exciting development for ICoHS and students alike. The school has long offered its own zero-interest and low-interest payment plans. However, now being approved to participate in Title IV will allow even more students to afford to attend the college and go on to pursue fulfilling careers in the field of holistic health.
