Nov 30, 2013 /prREACH/ -- It is never too late to make a difference in the lives of others, according to Kiran Udeshi. This senior manager at Hyundai Motor Corporation keeps himself busy with his demanding work schedule, but he and his wife, Arlene, are never too busy to help with gathering holiday gifts for needy children. The Udeshis have a wonderful family tradition: every year during the holidays, the whole family gets together for a large gathering. According to Kiran Udeshi, many people attend this gathering, "Sometimes as many as 60 people show up," he says. Kiran and Arlene, who also rescue big dogs as seen in this video, are not ones to let this type of opportunity pass them by. "We turn our big family gathering into a fun raffle event," Kiran Udeshi says. "Since we have so many people there, my wife and I purchase gift cards to various stores then raffle them off. This way, we raise money to buy needed toys and supplies for children." Kiran and Arlene then take the toys and supplies to area churches or civic organizations for distribution to children. "There is such a great satisfaction that comes from doing for others. My wife and I think that this activity is actually our greatest holiday gift to each other." Kiran Udeshi is a senior manager at Hyundai and has worked in the automobile industry for many years. While he enjoys the challenges of his work, his heart is in helping others as well. Kiran and Arlene rescue large breed dogs, work with family members as part of various charitable groups, and of course donate every holiday season to area churches and groups that care for needy children. "You do not have to be a huge organization to make a difference in people's lives," Kiran Udeshi notes. "Our giving started with a simple family gathering, but has grown into something much more, because our family wants to help others and puts our resources together to do so. Anyone can make a difference in people's lives by doing small things on a consistent basis." About Kiran Udeshi: Kiran Udeshi is a senior manager at Hyundai Motors and is involved in many civic and humanitarian activities. He lives in Chino Hills with his wife, Arlene.
