The first guest to appear on next week's podcast is Leo Rossi. He is an American writer, producer, and actor. He has over 100 credits to his name as a versatile character actor. He is still remembered for his roles in the "Relentless" franchise, the 1990 horror sequel "Maniac Cop 2," and the 1981 horror film "Halloween II." He also featured in several other popular films such as "Heart Like a Wheel" (1983), "River's Edge" (1986), "The Accused" (1988), "Analyze This" (1999), "One Night at McCool's" (2001), and "10th & Wolf" (2006).
Rossi began acting in community theater. His first noteworthy role was in the horror sequel "Halloween II" with Jamie Lee Curtis, where he played the role of a nasty sexist paramedic. He has also made guest appearances on several television shows in the 1990s. In the super hit "Analyze This," he played the role of Robert De Niro's wicked cousin.
Joseph Dominick Pistone will be the podcast's second guest next week. He is a former FBI agent, known popularly by his undercover alias, Donnie Brasco. He was an undercover agent between September 1976 and July 1981 and took part in infiltrating the Bonanno and Colombo crime families. He started working as an FBI agent in 1969 and retired in 1986 after serving the FBI for 17 years. Pistone's work resulted in over 100 convictions and 200 indictments of Mafia members.
Pistone's high success rate was crucial in convincing the FBI brass that using undercover agents was a critical component of police work instead of relying exclusively on informants. The 1988 book "Donnie Brasco: My Undercover Life in the Mafia" provides a detailed account of Pistone's undercover experiences.
"'I Know This Guy' is delighted to host two amazing guests this week. I am looking forward to having a great time with them on the show. I am sure all our listeners would love this special episode," said Norman Farrar.
