Dr. Smith has served as a Healthcare Information Management (HIM) leader for nearly 20 years, both as a career professional and educator. As a consultant, she has helped companies stay one step ahead in this rapidly changing industry to solve issues related to medical coding, policy and procedure development, electronic health record practice workflow and re-design processes.
