“Music is an intrinsic part of all of us; some people are creators, others are listeners. Either way, it brings us together,” says Donville Williams, the company’s CEO and founder. The Lyric Studio was created by Williams as a place where singers and musicians can share their ideas and talents. Having written his first song at only 12 years old, Williams truly understands the role music plays as an outlet for one’s deepest emotions.
Williams has a diverse working background that has molded him into a well-rounded businessman and entrepreneur with a strong customer service and satisfaction background, having worked in banking, inflight and social care. He has also had the pleasure of meeting and learning from some world leaders in their fields, including Dolf Lundren, Adrea Navedo, Vince Vaughn, Jillian Michaels and Dr. Phil.
The competition was judged by a panel of mentors at Lyric Studio who assess each song based on originality, creativity, emotional connection and general popular appeal. Entries shortlisted by the panel were posted on Instagram for a public vote.
