Feb 11, 2015 /prREACH/ -- A ferocious blizzard that struck the New England area last week caused a considerable number of power outages and flooding in a number of states, including Massachusetts where some areas received close to three feet of snow, according to Fox News and other media outlets.

The storm, which also included high winds and toppled seawalls, was yet another in a series of weather events that have put millions of Americans in the dark for varying amounts of time through the years.
