Admiral Michael Rogers, director of the National Security Agency and commander of the U.S. Cyber Command, called this threat “so real” and said that enemies of the U.S. are performing “reconnaissance” on a regular basis so they can be in a position to attack the industrial control systems that run everything from chemical facilities to water treatment plants.
Life in the U.S. would be drastically altered if the electrical grid failed. Power4Patriots officials believe that protecting the grid should be a very high priority for the U.S. government.

“Consumers who purchase already-made solar panels and wind turbines spend three to four times that amount,” Baler said. “Installing solar panels and a wind turbine at one’s home will cut energy costs by as much as 75 percent.”
