Apr 17, 2014 /prREACH/ -- San Diego, CA. (April 16, 2014)-- Real Estate World Wide (REWW) CIO Heather O'Brien announced Wednesday that the company has donated a number of gently used laptops to POWER of GRANT MONEY™, for distribution to the various non-profits across the nation that the organization supports.
O'Brien and REWW CEO Kent Clothier, after various humanitarian trips to Haiti over the last few years, became inspired to create The Time is Now Foundation, a nonprofit organization intended to assist those in need. When O'Brien began researching the ins and outs of putting together a 501C3, she turned to POWER of GRANT MONEY™ for advice and direction.
The POWER of GRANT MONEY™ is a national, for profit, corporation providing consulting, grant writing and program development services to individuals and organization in 43 States. In addition to their corporate endeavors, the organization also supports a coalition of students and non-profits across the country.
Among those non-profits, a youth group in Phoenix Arizona that assists young adults with housing and financial counseling; a Women's group called Heart of a Fighter in Orlando, Florida that assists female vets just back from serving our country overseas; and another in Florida called Her Computer, a women's development and entrepreneur series for education that also acts as a think tank for business women and their startups.
More recently the organization has become involved in relief efforts in Haiti, thus taking their philanthropic activities global.
"We are extremely appreciative of the generous donation to serve our nonprofits and to assist those in need" said Derek Watson Spokesman for Power of Grant Money, "we're pleased to have become involved with the big hearted folks at Real Estate World Wide and we are excited to see what they do with The Time is Now Foundation."
Real Estate World Wide (REWW) is widely known for its real estate education programs and for the development and distribution of real estate database systems that help real estate investors grow their business, giving them the competitive edge needed to succeed in an ever changing market.
The laptops were donated by REWW after the company transitioned its curriculum to tablet and mobile device access, leaving the laptops just sitting in their warehouse. Said O'Brien of the donation, "We are excited to send the laptops to Power of Grant Money because we know they will distribute them across the nation to organizations that desperately need them; they are in perfect condition and loaded with software and the latest technology. They will find much better use out there than on our shelves."
