Nov 01, 2015 /prREACH/ -- The Rich Dad is celebrating two years of the online personal finance game CASHFLOW® Classic. Based on the original CASHFLOW® 101 board game, created by the Rich Dad Company, this online game teaches players to invest and acquire assets, and how to behave within investing scenarios that they might not try in real life.
On average, there are 35,000 CASHFLOW® Classic games per week across 50 countries being played online. The free online personal finance game is the ultimate realization of Robert Kiyosaki’s (co-founder, Rich Dad Company) vision of a personal financial education and the fulfillment of his belief that people learn best by doing.
“20 years ago when the board game CASHFLOW® 101 was created, the goal was to teach people financial strategies and to make it fun. Now that it’s online, it’s even easier,” says Kiyosaki.
During the height of the CASHFLOW® 101 board game’s popularity, clubs were formed in cities around the world of like-minded people who would meet weekly, or monthly, to play the game. Now, with the online version, players can play the game with someone from across the world at any time, anywhere, with up to six players.
This hands-on activity, with real life simulation, is a fun and powerful way to learn about investing and wealth building. Players can test out strategies for building wealth – without using real money – by acquiring property, stocks, businesses and precious metals.
Kiyosaki says, “One reason the CASHFLOW games were created was to familiarize non-investors with the vocabulary of investing. Players quickly learn the relationships behind the words of accounting, business, and investing. By repeatedly playing the games, the players learn the true definition of such misused words as asset and libalilty.”
