The San Jose REIC's Panel of Experts Event is where experienced San Jose real estate investors will share with their proven techniques for finding properties and generating profits using a variety of different strategies.

About the Speakers on the Panel:

Rob Davis: Rob has have been in real estate for 14 years and has been involved in over 300 real estate transactions.He has successfully created a multi-million dollar corporation from just $2,500.00, and is one of the few people who reached “millionaire status” before the age of 40. Featured on the Rob Black show in 2008, Rob will share how his life took a rags to riches turn with a few successful deals. Kurt Byer: Kurt Byer-CPA, MBA, MS-Tax. Mr. Byer was a CFO for a major construction and real estate development company in San Jose in the 1980′s. He held numerous financial management positions in industry after spending over five years in public accounting with a major Big 4 CPA firm. He has been a real estate investor for about 25 years doing both flips and holds in the Texas, Arizona and California markets. Kurt also started an Executive Search business in 1994 and still runs the business which is located in San Mateo, CA. Approximately 5 years ago he decided to take advantage of the real estate crash and heavily got involved with flipping properties in the San Francisco Bay area doing over 100 remodels and being involved with purchasing over 250 properties in the Bay Area. John Paiva: John Paiva is a Bay Area Investor that has been involved with Real Estate for about 10 years (Buy & Holds) and, in recent years, Rehabbing and Wholesaling for the past 4 Years. He is a Former Finance Executive with Cisco Systems who quit his day job at Cisco about 1 year ago to become a Full-Time Real Estate Investor and President of Charity Rehabbers, LLC. During the past year, he has completed the rehab/wholesale of 10 projects and currently has 7 projects going at various stages. One thing John misses from his time as a manager in the Corporate World is mentoring, helping employees develop their careers and giving back. As a result, with his new full-time career in Real Estate, John continues to make a conscious effort to set time aside to help new and less experienced investors. In addition, his newly formed company is committed to donating a portion of the proceeds from each sale to his family’s favorite charities (supporting  troops, children and animals) and get the agents and buyers of their properties involved to help direct the donations on their company’s behalf (to participate in an act of kindness to end the transaction).
