Apr 06, 2015 /prREACH/ -- San Diego Dive Club, is pleased to announce that they recently received a generous donation from 2 local companies – Softubs Spas and Sunstar Covers both located in Poway, CA.
Dive San Diego is a springboard diving and platform diving club that competes on various skill levels and provides lessons to divers of all abilities, ages and genders. In addition, Dive San Diego offers competitive team and springboard diving lessons through high-energy programs, taught by highly skilled competitive diving coaches. Just recently, they moved to a new state of the art facility located in Carlsbad, CA.
“Our philosophy is to help children of all ages and abilities learn diving and life skills by developing self-confidence, character, and joy with the care and guidance from our coaches and staff,” said Marnie Young, head diving coach and 1988 Hawaiian Cliff Diving Champion. “All of this is done in a relaxed and fun environment.”
“Needless to say, we are very excited and appreciative of Softub’s well-timed donation,” continued Young. “I can assure you, few companies in the industry would be this generous.” “The Dive Club is a year-round program for young kids so it will get plenty of use. In addition, the ability to keep team members warm between practice dives makes for a better practice, especially during outdoor practice in 35 to 40 degree weather.”
