Robert is best known as the author of the best-selling book Rich Dad Poor Dad.
Rich Dad invited Black to join the show to discuss Sovereign Man’s strategy of diversifying aspects of one’s life across the globe, called internationalization. The strategy, called the six pillars of self-reliance, allows one to reclaim their financial sovereignty and become more self-reliant In addition, the pillars cover how to come out on top no matter what the government or central bank does.
The six pillars consist of the following:
· Foreign banking · Second residence and second passport · Alternative stores of value · Personal resilience in a fragile world · Entrepreneurship and private investments · Asset protection and privacy
Robert Kiysoaki asks Black to explain the theory behind the six pillars. Black says, “You don’t have to have all of your eggs in one basket now. If all of your interests are in the same place, you are at risk.”
Black goes on to explain, “You don’t have to live, work, bank, invest, save for retirement, own real estate, store gold, operate a business, etc., all in the same country of your citizenship. The world is a big place, and frankly there are a lot better and safer places to store your savings than in an insolvent Western bank. This strategy of diversifying aspects of your life across the globe.”
