The new Mobile Command and Communications Center (MCCC) is ready for action with state-of-the-art, mission critical components including 8 surveillance cameras with a network video recorder, voice-over-IP support, on the move DirecTV, and internet access. The MCCC has its own secure satellite feed, cellular antenna, and access to P25800 MHz network and VHF marine bands. The MCCC is also equipped with multiple linked workstations as well as a situation room.
Summit Worx worked closely with the Mt Pleasant Police Department to achieve the most effective design for the MCCC, and then carried out the entire interior rebuild and integration of command and control systems. The work included development of users’ manuals and then training for the officers in the use of the onboard systems.
