May 12, 2014 /prREACH/ -- The Investment Real Estate Roundtable, a real estate investing networking group dedicated to bringing together real estate investors in the 4 major Texas markets of Austin, San Antonio, Houston, & Dallas, has released its May 2014 events schedule. The topic of the month will be Legal: The Do’s & Don’ts of Real Estate Investing. The featured speaker at the events will be the partners from Hajjar Sutherland & Peters, LLP, one of Texas’ premier Real Estate Law Practices.

“Our goal every month is to have a specific topic relevant to real estate investors in Texas,” says Club Founder Romney Navarro. “This month, we will bring in a local legal experts to explain to you the do's and don'ts of real estate investing. When it comes to legal matters, what you don’t know will hurt you and this a great opportunity for someone to listen to a high level real estate attorney and ask questions free of charge.”

The presentation will focus on the following:

• Choosing the right business structure

• Understanding Texas real estate contracts so investors can protect themselves in any type of transaction

• Legal topics required to financing projects so investors can quickly leverage other people's money for real estate wealth

After the presentation, there will hold a brief Q&A session. For the rest of the event, attendees will have the opportunity to network with one another.
