Each scholarship is valued at $10,000 and includes intensive cyber security training and critical industry certification vouchers.
“We have received approximately 2,000 applicants for our Maryland cyber security scholarship program,” said Chase Norlin, CEO of Transmosis. “This overwhelming response has greatly outpaced all of our other scholarship programs over the last 4 years.” Transmosis has actively participated with state and federal governments as well as private sector partners nationwide to offer full and partial scholarships. The following 20 Maryland residents have been awarded the $10,000 Scholarship from the Maryland EARN grant program: Ibrahim Conteh - Ellicott city, Roy Smith - Silver Spring, Candice Jurick – Baltimore, Jesse Higgins - Great Mills, Fikir Abebe - Takoma Park, Diamond Jaggers – Laurel, Vladimir Hilaire – Pasadena, Achiangah Germaine - New Carrollton, Karim Kibombo – Columbia, Herbert Hernandez - North Potomac, Nkegoah Bless – Glendale, James Walsh – Baltimore, Bzuayehu Ambye - Silver Spring, Jason Holmes - Upper Marlboro, Olugbenga Folarin – Springdale, Samuel Belachew – Silverspring, Richard Clifton – Clinton, Sabir Hazratzai – Riverdale, Blake Jones – Parkville, Prathusha Padmanabhan – Germantown.
