Jul 28, 2015 /prREACH/ -- Dr. Brandon Owen opened his first office in Fort Collins in 2006, and in 2010 moved into a new location in Northern Colorado's first Platinum LEED building, at 3221 Eastbrook Dr Bldg A. By operating in a LEED-rated building and using digital imaging and charting, they are able to give wonderful care to their patients while having a minimal negative impact on the environment.

In the summer of 2015, Dr. Owen decided to open a new office in Windsor, at 1180 Main Street Unit 6, to provide the same great care and service to more families in Northern Colorado communities. Dr. Owen invited another highly acclaimed orthodontist to join his practice, Adam Timock.

Dr. Adam Timock was born and raised in the suburbs of Kansas City where he met his wife and high school sweetheart (in sixth grade). After finishing his undergraduate degree as valedictorian at Lake Forest College in Chicago, he returned to complete his dental degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, graduating at the top of his class and becoming their first student to achieve a perfect board score. At Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon, Dr. Timock was awarded his Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics as well as a Masters of Science for his research on three-dimensional imaging.

At home, Dr. Adam and his wife, Krystl, have been blessed with two energetic young children, Addyson and Cannon, and an equally playful yellow lab, Mowgli. They put down their roots in Fort Collins in 2010, and have been enjoying all the activities and attractions of Northern Colorado ever since. In his free time, Dr. Timock is an optimistic Kansas City Royals fan and enjoys playing sports, homebrewing, and chasing his kids around Old Town.

Dr. Owen grew up in Montana where he met his wife Nicole at Montana State University. He completed dental school at the University of Minnesota and stayed at U of M for orthodontic residency. Dr. Owen enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, skiing, and fly fishing in his spare time.

Both doctors place a heavy emphasis on the patient experience. A wonderfully dedicated and courteous staff; every effort is made to be on time for appointments so no one has to wait two hours for a thirty minute appointment, and the office is set up to keep everyone entertained (from the massage chairs in the waiting room to the kids' room with books and video games).

At Owen Orthodontics, the orthodontic process is created to be as easy and pain free for their patients as possible. The most advanced technologies available are used, and multiple options are provided that are not often found in other offices. Additionally, Dr. Owen is passionate about continued learning and has done extensive training on occlusion and TMJ (temporomandibular joint) disorders.

Here are but a few of the services provided for all members of a patient's family.

Metal braces The most common type of braces used in orthodontic offices. These braces are the new generation self-ligating braces (or braces with doors) to reduce friction and force levels in the early stage of treatment.

Clear braces Made of ceramic, these offer improved esthetics over the metal brackets

Invisalign Clear aligners that can be taken in and out for eating and brushing.

Limited lingual braces For mild alignment, these braces are completely hidden from view.

Full Lingual Braces Completely hidden, these braces are custom made for each patient and can correct any issues as well as or better than conventional braces

Owen Orthodontics is dedicated to giving back to the community, and participate annually in Give Kids a Smile Day, the Colorado Mission of Mercy, as well as being active supporters of Project Smile - who all provide free dental care to those who cannot afford it otherwise.
