Ya'acov Darling Khan was drawn to the spiritual world of shamanism from the early age of seven. The calling to explore this world intensified as he matured. He struggled for years to come to terms with a perception of life that he believes can only be explained by traditional shamanism. A practicing Shaman, Khan has studied and practiced alongside spiritual teachers and Elder Shamans from the Sami, Achuar and Sápara people of the Amazon for over three decades.

Khan is known for his inspiring, contemporary and practical work, and his audience includes people from all walks of life. At a time when society has gotten disconnected from natural and ancestral wisdom, he has dedicated his life to educating people and helping them understand the true essence of the term "shaman," which means traditional healer.

He wrote several bestselling books, such as "Jaguar in the Body," "Butterfly in the Heart," and is the co-author of "Movement Medicine - How to Dance, Awaken and Live your Dreams." His latest book, "Shaman -- Invoking Power, Purpose and Presence at the Core of Who You Are," was published in 2020 by Hay House.

He and his wife of 34 years, Susannah, have worked together to create Movement Medicine. They designed this contemporary and dynamic shamanic practice to help people from all walks of life to "become their true selves and give whatever they have got."

Over the last 30 years, Khan has spoken to audiences around the world, driving the transformation of world culture and sustainability. He has worked with some of the most eminent contemporary spiritual leaders, including Marianne Williamson and Ken Wilber. He also works online via his website, "21 Gratitudes."

"If you believe in shamanic healing or want to know more about this concept, you just can't afford to miss this episode," said Norman Farrar.

Please tune in to the upcoming episode of "I Know This Guy" to find out more about Ya'acov Darling Khan's compelling life journey.
