Salinas, CA, Oct 18, 2021 /prREACH/ -- Central Coast College, a Legacy Education institution located in Salinas, California, has announced a new partnership with the Imagine America Foundation. Legacy Education announced the new partnership with the Imagine America Foundation on September 15, 2021.

The Imagine America Foundation (IAF) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing career education in America by providing scholarship programs, elevating public awareness of the vital role of career colleges, conducting research, and honoring the achievements of professionals and students involved in career education.

IAF was established in 1982 as the Career College Foundation and has become a trusted voice in the career college sector, providing research, scholarship, and training for the nation's career colleges. The mission of the Imagine America Foundation is to promote the value of specialized career education and help students get the hands-on training they deserve. IAF focuses on career training and ensuring that students earn the skills and job qualifications needed to meet industry-standard and employer requirements. IAF works directly with high schools and career colleges to respond to industry trends, connect with their student communities, and increase student retention, all in a constantly evolving industry.

Central Coast College (CCC) is proud to partner with the Imagine America Foundation as a participating career college. In order to become a partner institution, a career college must be a fully accredited, Title IV, for-profit college that offers specialized career training programs. CCC, a Legacy Education institution, is an Accrediting Council on Continuing Education and Training (ACCET)-accredited higher learning institution. The partnership with IAF was announced by Legacy Ed President LeeAnn Rohmann. “Being selected as an IAF-partner school is very exciting,” Rohmann said. “It is our mission to provide students with practical, relevant career training to prepare graduates for in-demand careers. As an IAF-partner school, we will be able to provide more students with scholarships to pursue their career goals.”

As an IAF-partner institution, CCC will be able to offer additional scholarship opportunities to qualifying students. IAF’s Adult Skills Education Program (ASEP) provides scholarships of $500 to as many as five (5) students per campus per year. Through this partnership, CCC will be able to provide Adult Skills Education Program (ASEP) scholarships to as many as five (5) students each year. The ASEP scholarships are available to qualified adult students ages 19 and older.

Central Coast College is dedicated to providing flexible real-world healthcare and business training through hybrid, hands-on, and online classes.
