Preliminary evidence shows that the antioxidants in green tea may slow down the march of time, at least with respect to the appearance of the signs of aging on one’s skin.
When used topically, green tea can also make a difference in the presence of acne and blackheads. Research has shown that a lotion made with a two percent concentration of green tea extract can eliminate close to half of all acne when used twice a day.
