Social Media Advocate and Educator Tami Patzer, owner of Total Audience Market Immersion TAMI LLC, is currently offering two online Social Media courses via Florida Gulf Coast University’s (FGCU) Continuing Education and Off-Campus Programs. “Content is king in the social media world,” says Patzer, who has been teaching Mass Communications courses since 1997. She is a former newspaper editor and video producer.
“Content Brand Marketing is a course that will be open to new students in November," Patzer says. The 6-week course is for anyone who wants to take social media marketing with content to the next level.
“Students taking this course will learn how to design content marketing brands for any purpose,” says Patzer, who adds, “Content includes how to develop content, procure it and automate it for personal/business pages in Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, WordPress Blog, Google+, YouTube, Instagram, and Flickr.”

“This online course is ideal for busy professionals who want to get a solid foundation started for social media for both personal and professional use,” says Patzer, who has taught Mass Communications courses at University of South Florida, State College of Florida and continuing education courses at FGCU.
During the six-week foundations program, students create social media profiles for 12 of the popular platforms including Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Pinterest and Google+. The courses includes instruction for social media management and automation, analytics, mobile marketing and beginning content marketing.
